'Freaks & Geeks' Main Characters, Ranked

Freaks and Geeks is an American period teen comedy-drama television series, created by Paul Feig, with Judd Apatow as executive producer. The show aired on NBC during the 1999–2000 television season. Eighteen episodes were completed, but the series was canceled after only 12 had aired.
Teenage Lindsay Weir (Linda Cardellini) and her younger brother Sam (John Francis Daley) attend William McKinley High School during the 1980–1981 school year. The show is set in the town of Chippewa, Michigan, a fictional suburb of Detroit (named after Chippewa Valley High School, which series creator Paul Feig attended).
Lindsay's friends constitute the title's "freaks" — Daniel Desario (James Franco), Ken Miller (Seth Rogen), Nick Andopolis (Jason Segel), and Kim Kelly (Busy Philipps); Sam's friends constitute the "geeks" — Neal Schweiber (Samm Levine) and Bill Haverchuck (Martin Starr).

We ranked these eight awesome principal characters by their personality, character and how they entertain the show.

8. Kim Kelly

Portrayed by Busy Phillips.

Kim is a great character, it takes a while to see that she's a good person. But she is in the bottom of the list because in the first four episodes she is a total jerk.

7. Ken Miller

Portrayed by Seth Rogen.

Now it's getting hard. Ken is cool, but there are too much great characters in this series!

6. Lindsay Weir

Portrayed by Linda Cardellini.

Lindsay is probably the most important character of F&G.

5. Daniel Desario

Portrayed by James Franco.

Daniel is very selfish, but has a lot of personality and style.

4. Sam Weir

Portrayed by John Francis Daley.

It is very hard to rank the geeks, but Sam is the least good by a little.

3. Neal Schweiber

Portrayed by Samm Levine.

Neal is the most spontaneous character on the show.

2. Bill Haverchuck

Portrayed by Martin Starr.

Bill is the soul of the series, and one of the deepest characters in F&G.

1. Nick Andopolis

Portrayed by Jason Segel.

Do I need to say something?
